At New Hall, we offer our students a wide range of hot and cold choices with plenty of fresh fruit, vegetables and salads. The menu is designed to offer a varied and healthy diet for all our students. Proposed menus are reviewed by Nutritionist Dr Juliet Gray BSc (Nutr) BA PhD RD RNutr, along with our medical team in the School Health Centre and we attempt to cater for all tastes and preferences. Weekly menus are posted to our website by our caterers.
Any parent who is concerned over the quality of food is welcome to come to sample lunch or any other meal, please telephone Julius Sidwell, Vice Principal, Boarding, or the Catering Manager in this regard.
As part of the special measures required for the Covid-19 pandemic, students are eating a packed lunch at this time. Our caterers are providing a packed lunch ordering service offering a high standard and wide range of food at lunchtime. Breakfast and supper continue to be hot meals in the Refectory.
