Library

At the very centre of New Hall School is the School Library, which allows students to access over 20,000 resources, including books, DVDs, audiobooks, daily newspapers and online resources

The two libraries offer a welcoming place to study, research, or choose their next book. The main library offers a space to read, study in a group and meet friends. The inner library offers a place for silent study.

The Library is staffed by a librarian who will advise on the latest fiction and teach study skills. The qualified librarian provides sessions to support students with their learning, ensuring students are able to analyse information for their study and their Extended Project Qualifications.

Students in Years 7-9 will visit every fortnight with their English class to read and review their latest book.

The fiction selection is regularly updated with new books, where a student can borrow up to five titles at a time.

The library is open 8.00am-6.00pm every day for study, reading and relaxing with fellow students.
