We want to support all our students to better understand different qualifications, career pathways and the world of work to gain independence in making decisions about their future. To do this, we help students learn where they can find impartial, accurate careers information and how to use this information to help them decide what pathways might be best for them.

We are extremely keen for students, parents, and carers to use us for support but also to show an interest in researching career information in their own time – explore the websites by clicking on their titles below!

Unifrog

At New Hall School we use the Unifrog careers platform. This is designed to help students develop an understanding of their own skills and knowledge and then research all the opportunities available to them so that they are in a position for make informed decisions about their future options.

To access the system students will need to create an account using their school email address.

Essex Opportunities

A one stop shop for information and advice on jobs, careers, skills, and training.  Funded by Essex County Council, this website has everything you need to help build a career, and search for jobs, courses, and apprenticeships in Essex.

Containing over 400 extremely detailed job profiles linked to a variety of career areas, all written by qualified careers advisers or people already working in these industries.

National Careers Service

Over 800 profiles on careers from Architect to Zoologist, including useful information on what the work would be like, what pay you could expect and what skills and qualifications you might need to get into these job roles.

Icould uses the power of personal stories to inform you people’s career choices.  It features over 1000 videos of people talking about their careers – explaining their job role, career path, and how different factors have shaped their direction.
