Following the success of last year’s scheme, which has been extended to Year 4, our current Year 3 pupils have eagerly introduced themselves to their new instruments. Following a demonstration from our Visiting Music Teachers the students chose from Violin, Viola, Cello, Clarinet and Trumpet.

It was a delight to see classes of beaming faces as they excitedly opened the cases for the first time and started to learn about their instruments. The students will receive weekly tuition which will also include some contextual and theoretical learning. We are looking forward to seeing the progress of both these year groups in due course as they embark on their musical journey.
