Seven swimmers from our Swim Academy competed at the Swim England Essex Senior Winter Championships. While most swimmers achieved a personal best, Danylo, Year 10 international student from the Ukraine, gave impressive stand-out performances, winning the 50m U16 final, achieving 3rd place in the U16 400m individual medley, 2nd place in the 100m butterfly final, and 2nd place in the 200m backstroke final. He also participated in the 200m butterfly, finishing 4th in the U16 with yet another personal best. To end the day, Danylo qualified for the 50m freestyle final, swimming a new personal best and securing 4th place.
