New Hall School Holiday Activity Club offers childcare to our pupils in Pre-School and the Prep School Divisions in a familiar setting with familiar faces. The Holiday Club is staffed and led by members of our School community.

Engaging activities are planned each day, utilising the School’s facilities and grounds. Indoor activities include cookery, sessions in the ICT suite, arts and crafts, toys and board games, badminton and table tennis. Outdoor activities include woodland skills, trips to the New Hall farm, games on the astroturf and orienteering. Pupils are able to bring their bicycles and scooters into School for playground riding, and there are regular swimming sessions for older pupils. Pupils also enjoy specially arranged seasonal experiences, such as inflatable days, Science workshops and exotic animal encounters. 

The Holiday Activity Club runs every October half term, Christmas holiday, February half term, Easter holiday, May half term and Summer holiday, providing care from 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday. The Club is booked in advance by parents at an additional cost of £45.00 for a full day. All children attending the morning or all day session enjoy lunch in the Senior Divisions Refectory. Morning and afternoon snacks and drinks are provided by the School.  Fees for the scheme are reviewed every April. Parents are asked to provide pupils with a named swimming kit each day.  

The scheme is also open to Pre-School pupils. These children will be cared for in the Nursery during the October half term, Christmas holiday and February half term. From the Easter holiday onwards, they will be cared for in the Prep School Divisions building, aiding their transition into Reception. 

Parents of pupils receive a Parentmail communication prior to each holiday period inviting them to book places in the Holiday Activity Club.
