Throughout November, our students have been celebrating Diwali. The Year 7 and Prep boarders in Petre House delivered a fantastic presentation all about Diwali.

Pupils in Reception have been making rangoli patterns, painting pictures of Rama and Sita and decorating the dolls’ houses. The pupils listened to the traditional Indian story ‘Rama and Sita’. They then created a mixed media portrait of their favorite character from the story.

Children in the Nursery have created some Rangoon pictures and made colourful clay pots. They even got to taste some wonderful Indian delights!

Students have broadened their understanding of the world through learning about different cultures and foods.
