Trinity Term 2020:  Covid-19 Pandemic

The School has reduced the cost of the published standard day fee by 16% (Reception) to 13% (Sixth Form) and the published standard  full boarding  fee by 16% (Years 7-8) to 17% (Years 9-13) for the Trinity Term 2020.  There  is  no  charge  for  Nursery  children  who  are  not  attending  the  Nursery.

The   School   has   set   up   an   emergency   hardship   fund;   to   apply,   please   email schoolfees@newhallschool.co.uk for a Blue Form.  Applications may still be made and will be considered on a rolling basis.  The School may also be able to offer a deferred payment plan for the Trinity Term fees. Academic Year 2020-2021

The School has committed  to a fee reduction for the academic year 2020-21, together with an extra 2 weeks of teaching (a 7% increase) for that academic year.  Parents are advised to budget on the current fee level, with the new, lower fee (Reception to Year 13) to be confirmed by August 2020.


Examinations and EAL

The examination boards charge an entry fee for all public examinations. These charges will be added to fee accounts when students are entered for these examinations. For international students, there is an additional charge of £695, plus examination fees, per annum; should they require to study English as an Additional Language.

Direct debit

Fee payment is by Direct Debit. You will have the option to pay school fees and extras either termly or monthly, over a 9 month period 1 August to 1 April. Information to arrange a Direct Debit Instruction will be sent to you by the finance department.

In association with School Fee Plan, we are pleased to be able to offer parents the option of spreading the cost of school fees and any extras by monthly Direct Debit. You can apply online here to pay your school fees by monthly installments*. Once approved, we will notify School Fee Plan of your termly fees, including any extras. Should you have any scholarships or bursaries, these will also be reflected.

Overseas parents/guardians Regrettably we cannot offer Direct Debit to our overseas parents and guardians. The Finance Department will provide details for bank transfer of fee payment.

Unless you have completed an application with School Fee Plan to pay by monthly Direct Debit, all fees are due for payment in full on or before the first day of each term. Please contact Mrs A Hesketh in the Finance Department via schoolfees@newhallschool.co.uk for further details.
