New Hall’s Shoebox Appeal 2019 gathered donations for children suffering in poverty via The Little Edi Foundation, a locally-run charity that distributes aid to children across rural areas of Romania and Moldova.

Students were encouraged to fill a shoebox with a selection of gifts, toys, toiletries and school supplies, along with a £2 donation. The enormous efforts and generosity of New Hall students and parents has resulted in a record number of 409 shoeboxes which are now on their way to Moldova, double last year’s total.  

Students will be able to follow the distribution of the shoeboxes via updates from The Little Edi Foundation and parents and Sixth Form students can try to track their individual shoebox donations via Instagram (@littleedifoundation) and Facebook (The Little Edi Foundation).
