Many families benefit from the flexibility of our wrap-around provision. After a busy school day, pupils are ready to unwind, and we are here to ensure that our provision enhances the wellbeing of our pupils, giving opportunities for them to develop personally, socially and emotionally. There is a high ratio of qualified staff at After School Care who are dedicated to the same Catholic ethos that New Hall promotes during the school day; children are valued and respected and helped to develop as well-rounded individuals.
Parents/guardians must book their child onto an after school care session prior to attendance. Once the school day finishes, pupils are able to enjoy a full programme of supervised activities until 6.00pm. Pupils have a light snack between 3.15pm and 4.00pm.
After School Care for pupils in the Pre-Prep and Preparatory Divisions takes place within the Preparatory Divisions building, utilising the Art Room, ICT suite and classrooms. Nursery pupils are cared for and supervised within the Nursery building.
New Hall also runs a Holiday Activity Club during the school holidays, open to all pupils in the Preparatory Divisions. The Club is run by School staff, and offers childcare in a familiar setting with familiar faces. A range of activities are made available, both indoors and outside, with children using the swimming pool each day, and enjoying specially arranged experiences such as animal encounters and inflatables. Children go to the School Refectory for a hot lunch, and are given snacks in the morning and afternoon. Holiday Activity Club provides care from 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday and is booked in advance by parents at an additional cost.
