After a busy school day, pupils are ready to unwind, and we are here to ensure that our provision enhances the well-being of our pupils, giving opportunities for them to develop personally, socially and emotionally. There is an extensive range of after-school clubs, all of which are dedicated to the same Catholic ethos that New Hall promotes during the school day; children are valued and respected and helped to develop as well-rounded individuals.
Parents/guardians are asked to book their child into an after-school activity prior to attendance. Once the school day finishes, pupils are able to enjoy a full programme of supervised activities until 5.00pm. Extended supervision is available between 5.00pm and 6.00pm, for an additional fee.
After School Activities for pupils in the Pre-Prep and Prep School Divisions take place across the School site. Clubs are staffed by an enormous variety of teachers and staff from all areas, making use of staff expertise, personal passions and our extensive facilities.
New Hall also runs a Holiday Activity Club during the school holidays, open to all pupils in the Prep School Divisions. The Club is run by School staff, and offers childcare in a familiar setting with familiar faces. A range of activities is available, both indoors and outside, with children using the swimming pool each day, and enjoying specially arranged experiences, such as go-karting, animal encounters and inflatables. Children go to the School Refectory for their lunch, and are given snacks in the morning and afternoon. Holiday Activity Club provides care from 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday and is booked in advance by parents at an additional cost.
