U9 Rugby Boys Triumph Against Bancroft’s Preparatory School

The U9 boys’ hockey teams enjoyed playing against Bancroft’s Preparatory School this week. The U9A team, led by Captain Joseph Murphy (4D), enjoyed a fantastic 8-1 victory. The boys demonstrated some excellent passing and organisation during the game which led to their triumph. For the B team, the New Hall boys linked some good passages of play together and some decisive defending by Benjamin Spilsbury (4R) and Adam Warne (3K) together with the linking passes to the midfield players of Ciaran Chambers (4D) and Felix Russell (3RE) provided good scoring chances to Kieran Scully (4D). Unfortunately the opposition defence held firm and the B team lost this time.
