Year 5 Netball Team Win Again!

Last Friday the Year 5 netball team travelled to The Forest School and played a brilliant game. At the end of the first quarter they were 2-0 down, but rallied together and quickly turned the game around. There was some excellent passing down the court and skilled shooting from Eloise Winsor (5A) and Elizabeth Murphy (5A) while Katherine Barber (5A), Annabelle Harle (5A) and Samantha Whetstone (5T) prevented the ball reaching the other team’s shooters with strong defending. Ella Phelps (5T) and Lara Clark (5T) did an excellent job making sure that the ball was moved up the court to the New Hall shooters. The final score was a fantastic 16-4 win to New Hall. The Year 5 teams have won seven out of ten netball games and six out of eight hockey games that they have played this season. This is one of the best set of results for the Preparatory School year groups and they are to be congratulated on a wonderful achievement.
