Year 12 Fundraising for Rwanda

Year 12 students are organising a series of fundraising events during Lent to help to support those people in Rwanda who are still suffering from the horrific effects of the 1994 genocide. The Canonesses of the Holy Sepulchre have Sisters in Rwanda who are currently in the process of setting up a literacy centre and a nursery, for which our students would really like to help to raise money.

They will be holding a fundraising afternoon in the Sports Hall on the last day of term, where there will be lots of stalls, entertainment and a raffle. The students also endeavour to hold a concert and a non-uniform day in the near future, in order to exceed their target of £2,000. Any donations and raffle prizes would be appreciated for this deserving cause.
