Year 10 Trip to Tate Modern

Year 10 artists enjoyed a stimulating day visiting the Tate Modern on 26 February.

The students were asked to study a number of specific artworks; they looked at a variety of techniques and styles of working. The aim was to find inspiration for their current project on ‘Flight’.

Some of the students were new to the modern art gallery experience and found the range of works quite surprising. All of them found at least one piece of work which made an impression. As usual, the students were beautifully behaved and positive comments from members of the public who were also visiting the gallery left us glowing with pride. Thank you Year 10 artists!
