World Book Day celebrations at New Hall

World Book Day fell on Thursday 4 March and to celebrate the occasion, a Waterstones bookshop came to New Hall. Thank you to all those parents who made a donation to the Library; books to the value of £150 were added to our collection.

On Monday 8 March, we welcomed Steve Parker, a very successful writer and editor of non-fiction science and nature texts. Steve talked to groups from Years 6-9 about the process of researching, writing and publishing a book and kindly donated several of his books to our libraries.
