In January, Jamie (Year 9) and Jasper Pollitt (Year 7) auditioned for a place at the Celebrity Talent Academy London. Despite facing stiff competition from over 200 children for the 10 places available, both Jamie and Jasper were awarded a place at the academy. The boys now take part in training sessions to help them to perfect their acting techniques with top drama teachers who are involved in film, theatre and television work. It was during one of these lessons that a visiting L.A agent offered Jamie the opportunity to go to L.A during the summer holidays to meet with various Hollywood directors and producers. Jasper is currently rehearsing for the Colchester Operatic Society summer show which will be held at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester, in July. Congratulations to both boys on these excellent achievements; we wish them every success for the future.
