Year 12 students were fortunate to be invited to a Shakespeare Masterclass, led by RSC director, Michael Attenborough. On 3 May, 8 New Hall students joined students from King Edward VI Grammar School and Chelmsford County High School for Girls, representing the top schools in Essex, and visited the Almeida Theatre in Islington, for the Shakespeare Masterclass. Michael Attenborough is Artistic Director of The Almeida Theatre and has worked extensively with the Royal Shakespeare Company. A member of the notable Attenborough dynasty, his mellifluous tones kept students and staff spellbound for three fascinating and inspirational hours.
