PE Staff participate in Race for Life

Well done to Mrs Johnson, Mrs Jones, Mrs Sidwell and Mrs Shiner who took part in the Race for Life at Hylands Park on Sunday 4 July. To raise money and awareness for Cancer Research, the PE staff sold cakes and plants at School and held a raffle to win personal training sessions.

There was great support from all of the staff, helping to raise the group’s current total of over £1000.

Congratulations to Mrs Jones who participated in the 5km run and came 12th out of over 6,000 runners. In the gruelling 10km run, Mrs Johnson did superbly to finish 7th out of 1500 runners. The PE staff would like to thank everyone who has helped them so far in their fundraising; any further donations would be greatly appreciated.
