Oxbridge Engineering Success

We were delighted to hear that Steven Liu (Year 13) has been offered a place to read Engineering at Robinson College, Cambridge. Steven, who joined New Hall as a boarder for the Sixth Form, was delighted to hear the news and would like to express his thanks to the academic and boarding staff for the support and guidance he has been offered since coming to New Hall. Our congratulations go to Steven on this excellent achievement.



OMEGA Oxbridge Successes for our Partnership School

Through New Hall’s OMEGA programme, Oxbridge preparation and Critical Thinking A Level teaching has been provided by New Hall staff for students from St John Payne School, a maintained Catholic school in Chelmsford with whom we work in partnership as one of our public benefit initiatives. We are delighted to hear that this has been the best year for Oxbridge offers for the school, with 5 offers and one further student being pooled by Cambridge. All 6 students have been taught Critical Thinking A Level by Mr Yates, Head of Critical Thinking, and two of the students attended the OMEGA Oxbridge talks and preparation sessions. Our congratulations go to all these students.
