New Hall U14 'Griffins' Rugby Team are Essex County Schools’ Rugby Champions!

The Year 9 Rugby Team won the Essex Cup Final in style beating Philip Morant School by a fantastic 57pts - 5pts. 

Four tries from 'Man of the match' George Perkins sealed the cup shortly after half time. Further tries from Captain Jordan Davies, Alfie Adelman and Eben Becerra put the icing on the cake. Once again the players combined well to give a clinical performance worthy of their unbeaten season at 15 a-side Rugby.

This victory gave the team the success of being double Essex Schools Champions winning both the 15 a-side title as well as the 7s title. The team has also finished top of the British National Schools all comers U14 league for the season 2009/10.
