For the first time, the LTA Competitions Team and the Tennis Foundation have combined to produce a year end rankings list of the top 25 performing schools in the AEGON Team Tennis Schools Series. The rankings are based on schools’ performances at the 3 competitions that form the AEGON Team Tennis Schools Series. These include the National Championships, the Year 8 & 10 competition and the Senior Students competition.

Approximately 12,000 players from 3,000 teams currently compete in these events and the New Hall Boys’ Tennis team were placed 11th in the country. New Hall was also the only school in Essex to be featured in the ranking.

Mr Andrew Bennett (Head of Tennis) commented, “I am delighted with the AEGON ranking. The boys’ success is a testament to all of the hard work that they have put in this year and I am so proud of all that they have achieved.”
