Essex Fire Department Visit

On Wednesday, we were delighted to have a visit from the Essex Fire Department to help us celebrate Fire Safety Week. We learnt some important facts about keeping safe if we are faced with a fire at home. We discussed the importance of having a fire plan at home and encourage you to talk to your children about what they should do in the event of a fire at home. We were also given the opportunity to look at a fire truck and ask questions.

Coin Trail

Well done to the School Council whose first fundraiser raised £198.00 for The Fire Fighters Charity. They would like to thank all the children who brought along a gold coin to contribute to the coin trail which they used to create their fire truck.
