Horizons - Election Preparation - Sixth Form students question the 4 candidates

As part of the Sixth Form Horizons programme, students are having the opportunity to meet and question 4 candidates for our constituency, Saffron Walden.

Liberal Democrat candidate, Mr Peter Wilcock (pictured), addressed the Sixth Form on 25 February and UKIP candidate, Mr Roger Lord, spoke on 4 March. The students asked pertinent questions and were pleased to learn more about the forthcoming General Election, in which some will be able to vote for the first time.
 
The current MP for Saffron Walden, Sir Alan Haselhurst, Deputy Speaker for the House of Commons, will be visiting on 26 March and the Labour candidate, Dr Barbara Light, on 25 March. New Hall will be hosting a mock election prior to the general election.
