Harvest Festival at the Preparatory School

This week, two Harvest Festivals took place in the Preparatory School.

Foundation and Key Stage 1 delighted us with beautifully read poems, wonderful singing and some marvellous dancing from the children in Reception. Meanwhile Key Stage 2 also shared with us their many talents which included thoughtful Harvest songs reminding us that we should always be thankful for the food we have, and comical poems with a Harvest theme.

We were proud to sing ‘Fields of Harvest’ which was composed and arranged by Lucy Greenwood in Year 6. Thank you to all those who donated so generously to the Harvest food appeal and towards the travel costs of the boxes; in total we raised a fantastic £207.00. Also, thank you to Mrs Roe, Mrs Romhany, Miss Hunter and Miss Harkes for all their help in organising these events.
