Essex Hockey Squad Selection

Congratulations to Nadia Wheadon (Year 10, pictured below top) and Ailish Hunt (Year 8, pictured below) for being selected for the Essex Hockey Squad.

Both girls went through a vigorous selection process and were spotted as being extremely talented hockey players. They now both play for Essex, which is an impressive achievement.

Nadia represented Essex in the U16 Eastern Regional County Championship, which took place over two weekends in March. The Essex team drew with Norfolk, winning matches against Suffolk, Herts, and Cambridge. Nadia played right wing and produced some excellent assists as the Essex team won the regional championship.
