Cooking for NHVS





Members of the NHVS lunch groups had special meals this week, prepared entirely by students in their cookery classes.
 
At the Tuesday Tuck-In (pictured), the guests were treated to a chicken in cider & mustard casserole, which was made by Year 9 boys, followed by Eve’s pudding and ice-cream, made by Year 8 girls.

It was declared a huge success by the groups and gave the students an insight into catering for large groups. It is hoped that students will have the opportunity to cook for NHVS again in the future.
