On Saturday 22 January, the Art Department hosted an Art & Design Day for children from local schools in Years 4-6. With a theme of the ‘Mad Hatter’s Tea Party’ children were able to make party cakes and biscuits, create an acrylic cupcake stand, produce a personalised playing card portrait and a ‘mad’ hat. The day concluded with a party where all of the parents joined their children, and all the creations of the day were brought into service.
