On Tuesday, the School Council hosted a lunchtime fayre to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care. The council members worked in teams to decide on activities which they then planned by writing instructions and sourcing the equipment. They then made signs and very successfully ran their activities for pupils from Pre-Reception to Year 6. Great feedback was received from both pupils and staff on how organised and fun the activities were and how the School Council worked so well collaboratively. Congratulations to them all on running such a successful event. The delicious yellow cupcakes proved to be very popular – a big thank you to Mrs Southgate, Mrs Scully, Mrs Warn and Mrs Barrett for giving their time so generously. We are delighted to announce that the lunchtime fayre raised £535.00! Thank you to all those families who have returned a donation for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Remember that children who raise £5.00 or more will receive a ‘super fundraising magnet’ to keep. Please return all donations before Friday 8 March.
