Following a well deserved victory against St. Edmunds, Ware, New Hall U.12 AXI played some of their best cricket of the season to secure a draw against a very strong Royal Hospital School. RHS had three Suffolk county players but this did not intimidate New Hall. With strong and accurate bowling from Callum Fletcher, Taha Kan and Radford Benson, RHS managed 108 -8 off 25 overs. New Hall’s fielding was superb and two difficult catches were taken by Ciaran Moore and George Thurlgood. New Hall started their innings slowly but with decisive batting from the middle order of William Kiteriddge and Callum Fletcher, New Hall scored a respectable 88-8 off 25 overs to draw the game.
