Graham Born FCA ATII FABRP ACIArb. Chairman of Guardians. Senior Partner of West End Chartered Accountants’ Practice. General accountancy practitioner with specialisation in taxation, insolvency and arbitration. Recently formed new family accountancy practice.
Sister Patricia Barclay CRSS. Joined the Religious Community in 1986. Currently teaching music in Ilford. Degrees in music and theology. Taught music and religious studies and held pastoral roles in various girls’ schools, including New Hall.
Sister Teresa Lenahan CRSS. Prioress (since 2002). Joined New Hall in 1974 and the Religious Community in 1975. Qualified as a teacher at Roehampton University. Held various teaching and residential appointments at New Hall, including teacher of drama and Sixth Form Housemistress.
Frank Morgan BSc MEd. 11 years’ experience in two convent schools. Former secretary of the Association of Governing Bodies of Independent Schools (AGBIS). Past Chairman of Governors at New Hall. Current Governor of St Mary’s School, Ascot.
Richard Olver FREng. Chartered engineer. Non-executive Director of Reuters Group plc. Currently Chairman of BAE Systems plc and Deputy Chairman of TNC-BP. Former New Hall parent.
Paul Sauven MS FRCS. General Surgeon at Broomfield Hospital, with interest in cancer surgery. Former New Hall parent.

Professor Michael Alder FRAgS, DL. Chairman of Governors. Executive Director of the Federation of Essex Colleges. Former Principal of Writtle College. Director of several trusts, including Chair of InterAct, a Mental Health Charity.
Stewart Adkins BSc. Equity Research Analyst in the Pharmaceuticals sector at US Investment Bank, Lehman Brothers. Former New Hall parent.
Angela Boyle. Governor & Vice Chairman of Holy Family Catholic Primary School, Witham (1981-1990). Governor & Chairman of Terling Church of England Primary School (1991-2001). Director & Chairman of Royal Eastern Counties Schools (1992-2003).
Fr Michael J Butler. Parish Priest of Old Harlow (since 2001). Previously worked in Royal Air Force (1954-57). Ordained Priest for the Diocese of Brentwood in 1963. Former Chaplain to the Religious Community at New Hall. Currently: Chairman, Diocesan Liturgy Commission; Chairman, Diocesan Historic Churches Committee; Chairman, Art, Architecture & Heritage Sub-Committee of the Liturgy Commission.
Rebecca Fell ACA MPhil MA(Cantab). Chartered Accountant. Director at Deloitte. Specialist in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), including accounting for financial instruments. Former student of New Hall (1984-1992); Head Girl (1991-92).
Sister Mary Gabriel Foley CRSS. Sub-Prioress (since 2002). Joined the Religious Community in 1960. Trained as a teacher at Digby Stuart College. Taught several subjects, including RE, and was Housemistress for 19 years at New Hall. Served on the General Council of the Association of the Canonesses of the Holy Sepulchre since 1990 and has been Assistant General since 1993. Prioress(1990-2002).
Katherine Jeffrey MA(Oxon) PGCE BA(Div) MA(EdMg) NPQH. Principal, New Hall School (since 2001). Former teacher, St Mary’s School, Shaftesbury; Head of RE, Woldingham School; Deputy Head, The Marist School, Ascot. Governor, St Mary’s School, Hampstead (since 2004). Institute of Directors’ East of England Businesswoman of the Year Award, 2005. Current New Hall parent.
Carmel Jones BEd. Chairman of Education & Staffing Committee. Headteacher of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Upminster. Previously, Headteacher of St Joachim’s Custom House.

Kevin Smith BSc FCT. Worked in corporate treasury management for the last 26 years. Member of Brentwood Cathedral Parish Council. Former New Hall parent.
Rex Smith FCMA. Director of Finance at Anglia Ruskin University (since 1989). Previously worked at the University of London for 9 years. Current New Hall parent.
Chris Stevenson FCIS. Chair of Finance & General Purposes Committee. Chartered secretary employed in finance and company secretarial positions in the insurance and re-insurance sectors in Zimbabwe, South Africa and the UK for 30 years. Former New Hall parent.
Jennifer Tolhurst BA. JP. Member of Essex Board of The Prince’s Youth Business Trust (1991-94); Chairman (1994-97). Magistrate (1998). High Sheriff of Essex (2005-06). Former New Hall parent.
