Cindy Buxton

Cindy has 30 years' experience in researching, organising, developing and writing proposals and budgets, filming, photographing, directing and editing film, video and animation.

In May 1997 she joined Z-Axis Corporation as an Associate Producer to assist in the design and visual presentations to help juries in complex litigation lawsuits.

In March 1999 she was made Vice President of a new division of Z-Axis Corporation, which she developed, called Concept 2. Concept 2 specialised in designing complex company information into an understandable visual format.

In January 2000, she formed her own company, C2 Imaginations, LLC.

As a cinematographer, still photographer and director, she has specialised in documentaries. Twenty-one of the films she has made have been purchased by two of the most renowned firms in the wildlife industry in Britain. Survival Anglia Ltd, and Partridge Films Ltd.

Her work has been distributed to more than 110 countries, and in the United States they are transmitted on CBS, Discovery Channel, PBS and other cable channels.

She has won 3 Awards for her work within the film industry, and published two books. "Survival in the Wild" is about her first 8 years in Africa and "Survival: South Atlantic" covers 3 years in the South Atlantic and Antarctica. She has also published the only scientific paper about the Whale-headed Stork in Zambia.
