Geography Day
Spend the day with the Geography Department at New Hall School and take part in fun and exciting activities finding out where your food comes from around the world. To start the day, parents and students are invited to attend an International breakfast.
Just as the geography of Planet Earth constantly evolves, so does the academic discipline of the Geography Department at New Hall School. The department offers exceptional opportunities to students, from conducting field work at local coastal areas to experiencing diverse cultures on trips to Iceland and China. The department utilises and encourages the use of modern technologies and resources to make the subject ever-evolving and exciting.
The Geography Day is open to students from any school, in Years 4, 5 and 6 and is available on a first come, first served basis so booking early is advised.
Students should arrive for 9.00am on Saturday 25 February 2012 and report to the Senior School Reception. Parents and students are invited to an International breakfast, before the day’s activities begin. Students should wear comfortable clothing and bring a coat. Light refreshments will be provided throughout the day although they may wish to bring a bottle of water. The day will finish at 1.00pm. There is no charge for this event.
